Great news! We are able to extend the reservations for tours of the historical museum located at 161 High Street in downtown Wadsworth. Participants must pre-register on this site. A donation of $10 per person is asked.
Scenes in the museum represent stories of Wadsworth’s haunted past. They are not overly scary; however, children should be 10 or older! Learn about the origin of the Curtis Monument located at the entrance to Woodlawn Cemetery. The story of Sylvia Beach who was lost in the woods and never found. The mysterious murder of Ora Lee will be explained. The Resurrectionists of Woodlawn of Woodlawn Cemetery provided students with the specimens needed to learn about anatomy. Ghosts’ downtown that does not go away are described. Several more Grizzly Tales will come to light!
The tales will be held on three different at various and led by Roger Havens. Cash donations only. If you do sign up, enter at the front gate and wait on the front porch to be let in around your scheduled time. There are times wen the tours may run 5 to 10 minutes late. All tours last approximately one hour.
